Founded in 2021 by Dr. Andrew Gilliland, Sylacauga Veterinary Hospital was created with one goal in mind — to provide compassionate, family-style care for pets and the people who love them. After spending several rewarding years practicing veterinary medicine in Texas and South Florida, Dr. Gilliland felt called to return home to Sylacauga to build something special for his community.

With a deep passion for forming lasting bonds with pets and their families, Dr. Gilliland envisioned a hospital where every patient is treated with kindness, understanding, and personalized attention. Sylacauga Veterinary Hospital was built on the belief that every pet deserves exceptional care — and that every visit should feel like coming home.
